Great birds! Great weather! Great group of birders! What more could you ask?
7 FWAS birders [Martin, Bill H, Carol, Buck, Patsy, Glenda, and Kathy] met at the VCDB this last Wednesday to share a morning of birding. Not only did we have a good time together, the birding was also quite successful. Glenda, I love the photos, especially of the Marsh Wren. The only one I have ever seen before was at VCDB. Little thing was singing to beat the band while hanging onto a reed in a bit of a blow. It was great to see one up close...and we were really close! Glad you got such a great shot for us.
