Sparrow Identification Weekend (2/23-2/25) Including Birding Two Private Ranches

Led by Dr. Byron Stone, ‘SparrowMan’ of SparrowFest (and other) fame and his favorite Sparrow Hawks.

Registration includes: donation to Friends of Balcones Canyonland NWR; Meals from Friday Dinner to Sunday Breakfast; Snacks; Sparrow ID Talk; 3 half-day, small group field trips with spotting scopes; access to two ranches with prairie habitat in the northern reaches of the Texas Hill Country. Workshop only $165 per person (Early Bird Discount $150).

Learn field ID of 15 species (or more!) of N. TX wintering sparrows.
