Eight other birders joined Jean Ferguson for the monthly walk at Foster Park. The winter birds are arriving including First of Season Blue-headed Vireos. We had great looks at an immature Cooper's Hawk sitting on a power line (where the pigeons usually sit) near the parking lot early and then eating something in a nearby tree at the end of the walk.
