ID:	2383Late afternoon, I went to the Village Creek Drying Beds in N. Arlington to see this Tri-colored Heron that was reported, and also saw some Yellow-headed Blackbirds that was pointed out to me by another birder, John A. The Tri-colored Heron was wading in the South end of the entrance pond in, and the Yellow-headed Blackbirds were in a treetops, under the power lines along the paved road in, going past the yellow pedestrian gate.

The Tri-colored Heron is still there feeding in the same area this morning. Jim Sipiora has his regular walk there tomorrow morning and that would be a good opportunity to see this bird and a number of different sandpipers, phalaropes, etc.
Thanks for the notice about the heron,

    Chuck
