Monthly Meetings
The Fort Worth Audubon Society meets the second Thursday of each month from September thru May. A birding ID session begins at 6:50 p.m., with the general meeting commencing at 7:30. We meet in Room 100 of the Research and Education Building at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, which is on 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd. Click on the above link to get more specific details on location (see "Monthly Meetings" post) as well as announcements about speakers and topics on upcoming meetings.

Periodical Newsletters
The August 2016 issue of the Southwestern Flyer is available for download. The second issue of this month can be found in this link.  Please check out our growing archive of past newsletters by clicking on the Newsletters tab at top. Board Member Jim Jones has been busy scanning in copies from past years and making them available to all! If you have old newsletters that we are missing, please let Jim know so he can get a copy from you to add to our online archive.

Field Trips
Fort Worth Audubon Society Field Trips are open to all, members and nonmembers, beginners to world-class birders. We especially want to encourage and welcome first time birders to come on our local trips in the Fort Worth area. These trips are an excellent way to get started learning the birds and the best locations and seasons to find them. There are always people on these trips who are willing and able to answer any question about birds.

Planning a visit to our area?
Download a Birding Checklist specific for Tarrant County, Texas. We offer a 12-month Tarrant County Field Checklist, and four seasonal field checklists for Winter, SpringSummer and Fall (click on the highlighted words to open each PDF document).
