At about 1:30 today we had a Harris's Hawk on the wire above the Beltline Road bridge that crosses IH 635 in Coppell. We ate lunch near by and as we left the hawk had flown down and perched on a sign beside Ih 635 just west of the Beltline Rd. bridge. He's evidently hunting the medians in that area.
By the way, there's a Starbucks at that intersection (just in case you were wondering what led us there)...
