At the Dallas Rookery babies are starting to fall from the nest. Saw a small chick that desperately wanted to live. Am in an apartment with balcony facing the hot afternoon sun and had no place to bring it. When I returned the next evening it was dead. It broke my heart. Does anyone know of anybody that is rescuing these chicks, would gladly bring it to them.

You may contact the Rogers Rehabilitation Center. I will attach a link.

It is about a 30-40 minute drive from the rookery striaght on inwood all the way to I-20 and then I-45. I used diriving directions via msn.com. When you go down the street past fed-ex they are on the left almost to the end of the street. It's a little difficult to see their sign I drove past it twice.

The people there are fantastic and take great care of all the birds they receive.
