Last weekend, and two weeks before that we were in Weatherford and I saw a bird that I have only seen in Brazil, maybe Colombia too? The first sighting was with a cluster of Grakle's and this bird was hopping around, pestering, one. Saw another two weeks later, a Grakle flew over the highway & there was this beautiful bird picking on or making advances to the grakle. Had no camera but it was all white, with extremely long sissor tails. On the end of each ling tail was a plume of feathers. Doesn't look like the sissor tail in this area and the tails were so long it looked like it almost inhibited it's mating ritual, or whatever was going on. Guess I will check some South American birds, but these two sightings are the only time I have seen this bird since living in Keller TX for 8 years. Sorry so wordy, it's my first time to post. Char
I don't know what subscription means, but I will check this site for answers & I don't know what post a poll means????
