I take a lot of pictures and videos from the car and I have purchased and returned almost every window mount on the market because they don't provide a stable shooting platform.
Recently .... while birding out at Richland Creek WMA I met a woman that was using a "Molar" beanbag and was amazed because she was shooting with a large Canon camera and an 800 mm. lens whose front lens shade was about as big as a dinner plate. She wasn't even holding the camera ... it rested securly on beanbag.
I came home and found the bag online ... and ordered it that day. Received it ..... and filled it with about 20lbs. of birdseed (much cheaper than beans these days). Took it out yesterday to the WMA and found that it was indeed "rock solid" stable. I shot with a 500 mm lens and Canon camera ... a camcorder on a minitripod ... and my birdcamera. There was no movement ... camera wise .. it was amazing.
I have no interest in this product other than suggesting that if you have had the same frustrations I have shooting from a car .... this could be your answer. It is not something you would want to go walking around with in the woods ................ it is heavy. But ... for shooting out a car window... have never met its equal and I have looked for years.
