Made a quick run to the beds and while I did nothing more than drive up the entrance road and then down to the area just beyond the parked tractors, I came out with 33 species!! The highlight was a lone Yellow Warbler, which at this point constitutes my ONLY spring North Texas warbler seen this year:( - happy to get it though! I also found a Yellow-crowned Night Heron that was kind enough to allow me to get a few shots. Tried to get a couple of the Yellow-billed cuckoo, but it continually evaded me. Found 6 Yellow-headed Blackbirds hanging out with some Great-tailed Grackles by the tractors in the west field, most female & 1st year males - 1 adult male in the group.
