First off, I assume this is a cowbird, right?

Based on that assumption, any advice on how to discourage them from the feeder? A pair of adults showed up earlier in the year, and now (surprise, surprise!) I have several juvis visiting on a regular basis. I first eliminated all the wild bird mixes altogether and just left sunflower and safflower out, and when they kept hitting the sunflower I eliminated that as well, leaving just the safflower, but they pretty much seem to just go with whatever is there. If I just take the feeders down altogether will they go away eventually, or am I stuck with them now? Any suggestions gratefully received.
