Marbled Godwit

Enticed by the idea of touring the new Cowboy stadium a Marbled Godwit stopped by the Beds today. When he found out that he had to be an Arlington resident and the fact that the Beds are part of Fort Worth he decided he would just eat instead.

The Semipalm Plover was there again today and unless he was magical, I think there may have been a second.

I also have pictures of the Plover but they are awful, so I decided they weren't that important.

Unfortunately, I was not able to locate the Godwit when I got there around 12:00. I did spot a Dowitcher - a Short-billed I believe. Very rufous coloring.
