Supposed to be Semi-Palm Sandpiper! I was telling my son what to type as I was watching the bird at the beds!! Found 1 in bed 7 hanging out with the peeps! I found it around 12:40 and it was there up until about 2:30 pm. It may still be there, but I couldn't relocate it after I brought to the attention of Earl & his son Colby (I am bad with names, so if this is incorrect - forgive me please!) I did get some photos, but they aren't the best - certainly not Ken Nanney level, but good nuff for ID!! Will post them in a little while. Keep an eye out for it! Keep an eye out for the Plover I mean, not my bad photo!!!

Spotted the Semipalmated Plover again today, he is a little hard to keep track of! Once again I located the bird in bed 7. There is a larger "puddle" in the center of the area where all the shorebirds are hanging out at - he was in that area. The birds can walk behind a smaller clump of grass and get to water - he was going back there every once in a while. Got photos, but they are worse than the ones I took yesterday! I will post the ones from yesterday later this afternoon.
Also spotted 2 W. Phalaropes hanging out with the peeps. Got 4 female Blue-wingeds & what I believe is a female Pintail. I took photos of her also and will see if they are worth posting. Even if they aren't great, may be they will be ID worthy.
Female Pintail?

The Semipalm Plover is still in bed 7. Ken Nanney had to give me a heads up as to where to find it this morning! It was in the back on the right side of the pond this time. Only one dark Ibis this a.m. and 3 Dowitchers, assuming Short-billed basd on what Greg told me about fall migration. Nice hour at the beds onthing amazing.
