Anyone else hear about this? Just spotted the report buried at the bottom of the Texas Rare Bird Alert:
Updated Denton County: Western Grebe -- first report: Aug 21; last update: Aug 22 On Aug Steve Glover found a Western Grebe at Meadowmere Park, Grapevine Lake. Directions: (by Steve Glover) The bird was at Meadowmere Park which is off of Kimball Rd., which in turn is off of Hwy 114. If you follow the paved road directly north from the entrance kiosk until you reach the water, the bird was about 100 yards out. Latest Reports: Aug 22: present, about 200-300 yards out (Lamont Brown).
How about passing the info along to the local birding community?
