Went out this afternoon and tried to find the Bank Swallow... is this it?

Yes that's it for sure. I would contact Jim Peterson. I'm sure he would like to publish a copy of this unusual summer record on his North Central Texas Birds web page.

Cameron, I am glad that you were able to see the Bank Swallow! I was surprised to see it on the wire between beds 13 & 18! I stared at it for a little while and tried to make it into an oddly colored Barn Swallow, but just couldn't! I got my camera out to take a photo to prove that it was there and it flew just as I got my camera up! Glad you were able to get some photos of it!
